I was asked to do a baby shower cake last month for a friend of my sister. It was by far the hardest cake I’ve done to date, it was so HOT and HUMID…the buttercream was hell to work with and I learned so much through the process.
In addition, one of the cakes slid while I was transporting it to the location and that just totally left me devastated.

There were three different types of cakes…Strawberry Shortcake, Vanilla and Chocolate.
The cupcakes were Vanilla and Chocolate.
I used the 2×2 Wilton pan, each cake consisted of 3 cakes with filling between each one to measure up to 6×6.
As I said earlier this cake was really challenging for me…I’ll definitely do this again, however, I’ll only do it if it’s being covered in fondant.
